Healthy eating has been a life long journey after my local Doctor asked ‘what are you eating’ when I complained about always being tired. Of course! What you eat determines how you feel. So simple. Over the years I’ve tried many ‘diets’ or ways of eating. Some very weird and complicated. The Whole Food Plant Based and Mediterranean Diets have helped me the most, so I’m sharing some info about these on my blog. Juices and smoothies….well I just love them! 

Some diets and eating plans can be complicated. As a Mom, I was looking for simple and healthy family recipes for my growing family.  Whole Food Plant Based is going back to basics. Eat fruit and vegetables, when in season, just as nature intended. Include legumes, nuts and seeds and cold pressed oils and you’ll feel healthy and lose weight naturally. The Mediterranean Diet is very similar and by adding fresh wild caught seafood and organic meats, you’ll be looking after all of your family.
